TEXT: "Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil". Eph. 6:11

No reasonable soldier goes to battle field without putting on his full military armour, lest he gets wounded and eventually die in the process. Paul uses the model of Romans soldier on duty and draws in implication for Christian soldier ( vv 11-17).
The battle line has already been drawn between opposing forces of God and the devil. Rev.12:7-17. Man is at the center of the battle field. He bound to get wounded and subsequently die unless he aligns himself with God and puts on the whole armour of God.

God has the armour at His disposal to anybody that wants it for protection. ( cf. Isa. 59:17, 11:5, 1 These. 5:8). The battle is purely spiritual ( vs 12) therefore, needs spiritual armament like the belt of truth, breastplate of righteousness, gospel of peace, shield of faith, helmet of salvation, sword of the spirit i. e the word of God and finally fervent Prayer. ( vv 13-18).

Beloved, every Christian should see he / herself as a warrior. No wonder we are called the church militant. ( 2 Tim.2:1-6).
check whether you have got all these armaments. Never you leave  any part of your body bare because of the flaming darts of the devil ( v. 16.)

God never intended us to depend on our strength to engage in battle.
His intention is that we face every spiritual warfare both spiritual and physical  battle like poverty, sickness, family challenges, marital, health challenges etc by depends on His strength. Phi.4:13; 1 Cor. 16:13;
Psa.23:4; 1Pet.5:8
Brethren, as Christian we must fight the battles of faith with Satan, sin,flesh and the world and win in this world before we can reign with Christ in the heaven - 2 Tim. 2:10-13.

My father and my God,I put my trust in you and in your word release upon me  the divine ability to win every of my life battles in Jesus name.

I declare by faith that Jesus  had given me victory over sin, Satan,flesh, and the world. I am an over comer in Jesus name.
