THEME: THE DIFFERENCE CHRIST MAKES IN THE HOME

TEXT: ‘ But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the lord , are changed into the same image from glory to glory ,even as by the spirit of the lord;- 2cor3:18.

*The theme for this week, focusing on the difference Christ makes in the home. This is immeasurable because Christ is the foundation of every Christian home. His presence at the marriage in canan of Galilee confirmed His interest in the home.
-Christian home is fed through His grace and mercy ..  The psalmist tell us ,” I have been young , and now old yet I have never seen righteous forsaken””. Psalm 37:25. In the spiritual mansion, each member is given spiritual food from above for his soul, the bread that comes down from heaven..

-Jesus is the silent listener to every conversation . He tells us that ‘our conversation is in heaven’ phil 3:20. No home is really a Christian home without daily conversation with Him. It is the Christians native air. It is the sole link that connects us in person to another. Christ makes our home to be crowned with His  glory  of His presence – col 1:17
-Christ makes all the difference in the home. Add Christ and see the result . subtract and not the difference. This means that Christ is not only welcome guest but an abiding presence. The spirit of Christ becomes the spirit of the home.
-His arrival make the transformation in the home glorious by registered love, joy, peace, gentleness, good temper, kindness and self-control. Christ is all in all, the saving of a nation is not in the hands of law enforcers but the power of the Christian  home. “own your own home” is a good sling , but a better one is , “let Jesus own your home” to make it for you.

-Jesus Christ was sent to the world to deliver us from the slavery of Satan, demand OF ETERNAL DEATH – john 3:16. Jesus went extra  mile to redeem us and present us to His father.
*In our text, beholding His glory simply means beholding the wonders , the truth and the person of Jesus and his finished works as revealed in the gospel embracing such and appropriating its mysteries through faith until we strive to be like HIM.
-Beloved, the difference Christ makes in our home , is the sum total of the effect which we allow His suffering on the cross to make in our lives or home which resulted  in the salvation of our precious souls.
Christ makes the difference in our home by doing what no man could do. He fulfilled the law for us and became our law giver. This he achieved through His  spirit in us . Ezek 36:26

GEM FOR LIVING: 
Daily living by faith ON CHRIST  is what makes the difference between the sickly and the healthy Christian, between the defeated and the victorious saint.

PRAYER POINT : 
MY father and my God , No matter how cheap the promo on casket may be , in this year 2018, it will not be used for me and any of my family in Jesus name . Amen.

PROPHETIC  DECLARATION FOR 9TH WEEK :
WHATEVER   is standing between you and your destiny helpers causing frustration in your life shall give way in Jesus name .
